Important Update: Temporary Suspension of Shipping to the European Union

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend shipping to countries within the European Union.

This is not a decision we have taken lightly. Over the past several days, we have been working extensively with Australia Post, our shipping software providers, customs specialists, and our international duty provider to try and find a solution that would allow us to continue shipping to the EU. Unfortunately, despite exhausting every avenue available to us, we have not yet been able to find a workable solution.

What has changed?

From 1 July 2026, the European Union introduced a new €3 customs duty per item on certain low-value imports.

While our existing systems already support the collection and prepayment of VAT and other standard import charges, this new duty is handled separately and currently cannot be prepaid through any Australian postal service that we have been able to access.

As a result, parcels sent without this duty being correctly paid are at risk of being rejected by customs and returned to Australia.

Unfortunately, we have already experienced this with several customer orders, which is why we have made the decision to pause EU shipments rather than continue sending parcels that may never reach their destination.

Why can't you simply send the parcel another way?

We investigated a number of alternative shipping methods, including courier services.

While some courier networks may support these additional customs requirements, the shipping costs are significantly higher than standard postal services. In many cases, the cost of shipping would exceed the value of the products themselves, making this an unrealistic option for both us and our customers.

Is a solution being worked on?

Yes.

We currently use Zonos to manage international duties and taxes for many of our overseas shipments.

Zonos is actively working to implement support for these new EU duties. However, they are currently awaiting the necessary approvals from the European Union before the feature can be rolled out.

Unfortunately, because this process is outside of our control, we do not have an estimated timeframe for when shipping to the EU will resume.

What happens if I already have an order?

If you already have an outstanding order destined for the European Union, we'll be contacting you directly to discuss your options.

Depending on where your order is in the process, you'll be able to either:

  • Receive a full refund of your order.
  • Have your order held until a shipping solution becomes available.

We'll happily hold your order for as long as necessary if you choose to wait. However, we want to be completely transparent that we cannot currently provide an estimated shipping date.

Will you ship to the EU again?

Absolutely.

This is only a temporary suspension.

The moment a reliable method becomes available that allows us to comply with the new EU customs requirements, we'll immediately resume shipping to European Union countries.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. We know many of our customers have been eagerly waiting for their orders, and this situation has been just as frustrating for us.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and continued support while we work through these unexpected changes.
